Passed away peacefully surrounded by love at CAMA Woodlands, Tuesday November 14, 2017, just days before her 86th birthday.
Beloved wife of the late Bertram White. Cherished mother of Dale White, Alan White, Cathy Huntingdon (Greg), and Cheryl White (Grant). Adored Nana of Alanda Buske (Brett), the late Jeff Huntingdon, Corrine Pugliese (David), Melissa White and Jenny White, proud great-grandmother of Jaida, Ryne, Mya, Sophia and Domenic Jeffrey.Floris is predeceased by her sister Dorothy Dash (late Archie) of Brampton and brother Charles Acker of Churchover, N.S. She will be dearly missed by her sister-in-law Queenie Acker of Churchover, N.S., as well as all of her nieces, nephews, relatives and friends in Ontario, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and in the U.S.A. The family is so thankful for the loving, compassionate care Mom received from the staff of CAMA Woodlands, Burlington. Cremation has taken place. Friends and family will be received at Ward Funeral Home, 52 Main St. S. Brampton for a Memorial Gathering on Friday, November 17th from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. A private family interment will take place. If desired, in lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Alzheimer Society of Canada
