Florence Waller

WALLER, Florence Elizabeth - Peacefully, at Champlain Manor in Orillia, with family by her side, Florence passed away on December 22, 2009. Born October 12, 1916, she was 93 years of age. Former Office Manager of the Weston Golf & Country Club. Predeceased by her beloved husband George on October 20, 1992. Survived by sons Fred (Helen), Gordon (Eve), Donald (Gail) and John (Bridgett). Beloved Grandmother of James, Heather, Stephen, Susan, Derek, Cory, Laura and Carrie. Great-grandmother of seven. Betty will be fondly remembered by her many Bridge playing friends and extended family. A service for Betty will be held at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Rd. (north of Lawrence Ave. W.), Weston, on Tuesday, December 29th at 11:30 a.m. with visitation commencing at 10:30 a.m. A luncheon will be served at the Central United Church in Weston following the service. Interment following the luncheon at Prospect Cemetery. A very special thanks to Doctor 'Mike' and the staff at Champlain Manor who could not have been more sympathetic and kinder to Betty. If desired, donations may be made to The Salvation Army or the charity of your choice.
