Rev. Fr. Lawrence T. McGough

Died peacefully at the Houses of Providence, Toronto on Friday, February 17, 2017.

Fr. McGough was ordained to the Priesthood on June 7, 1952 at St. Michael's Cathedral. He served in a number of parishes in the Archdiocese of Toronto including Pastor of St. Ann's Parish, Toronto; Our Lady of Fatima, Scarborough; St. Gregory the Great, Oshawa and All Saints Parish, Etobicoke. In June 2012, Fr. McGough retired to the Houses of Providence where he received excellent care. He is remembered as a kind and gentle pastor.

He is predeceased by his parents, his brothers, Fr. Vincent McGough, SFM, Edward, Bernard, and his sister Anna. He is survived by his brother, John and his sister, Mary McNeely and her family.

Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, February 23, at 11:00 a.m. at All Saints Church, 1415 Royal York Rd., Etobicoke. Visitation will take place at 10:00 a.m., one hour before Mass at All Saint Church. Burial at Holy Cross Cemetery, Thornhill. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Canadian Red Cross.
