Fani Stergiadis

With heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Fani on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at the age of 94. She is now reunited with her late husband Angelo (1995). Beloved mother to Christine, Stefanos (Chrisoula) and Thomas (Barbara). Cherished Baba to Nick (Anne), Danny (Mary), Sophie (Nick), Mary (Nick), Jenny (Travis) and Jason (Jaclyn) and remembered by her 11 great-grandchildren. Fani was hard working and dedicated to her family. She could often be found in her kitchen baking or spending quiet time doing knitting and crochet. She was very proud of her garden and loved to spend time tending to it. Most of all though, she was proud of her family. She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by her family and friends. Visitation will take place at Ward Funeral Home (2035 Weston Road) on Monday from 4:30 - 9:00 pm. An Orthodox Rite of Service will be held at the Greek Orthodox Church of Saints Constantine & Helen (1 Brookhaven Drive) on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at 10:00 am. Interment to follow at Sanctuary Park Cemetery.
