Evon Christine Harris passed away on Thursday May 27, 2021 at the age of 75. Evon was born and raised in Clarendon, Jamaica, migrated to Toronto Canada in the winter of 1989 to be with her children and grandchildren. Evon was a loving, compassionate and caring mother to her ten(10) children, Ian, Veronica, Elio, Carey, Judene, Indira, Dian, Kevin, Romaine and Rayon. Evon was an active member of Mount Dennis Baptist Church at Weston Road and Eglinton location where she held the position of a Deacon, choir member, prayer team, just to name a few. Our family is blessed to have such a loving mother and an active member in her community.

Evon was predeceased by her parents, Mrs. Catilda Williams-Harriot and Mr. Clarence Harris, her siblings, Mr. Risden Harris, (Beverly Harriot- deceased) Maxine Harriot, Winsome Harriot, Marion Harriot, Ileen Harriot. Will be remembered by her brother, Harry Harris, her sister Opal Harris, nieces and nephews, daughter-in-laws, Shellian Campbell and Donnadeen Fong Choy, grandchildren and great grandchildrens all your cousins, Harris's Sinclair's, Dunkley's and all the entire family. We love you greatly and will be missed terribly. A celebration of life and memorial will be held at a later date.


Effective March 15th, 2021, as per the mandate of the Bereavement Authority and to safely manage the adhere to social distancing requirements, please RSVP for the visitation and service.
Wearing of masks or face coverings by everyone is mandatory as per the Provincial Regulations.
Respecting the current situation and pandemic restrictions, the funeral service and interment will be private.
