Passed away suddenly and unexpectedly due to complications from heart conditions at Humber River Hospital with his family in his presence on Monday April 22, 2024 at the age of 53. Everton will be surely missed by his dear spouse Paula of nine wonderful and cherished years together. Proud father of Demetrie, Andre, Brihanna, Jayton and Cheyanna. An overjoyed grandpa of Jiraiya. Loving son of Renford (predeceased) and Kathleen. Dear brother of Ronald, Paul and Bigga. Everton will be sadly missed by his adorable aunts, cousins, nephews, nieces and his many friends.

Born in Kingston Jamaica cool weather of 1970. Everton came to Canada to start a new life for himself. He worked extremely hard as a wielder working on fleets of trucks.

At home is where Everton felt most comfortable. Spending time with his children and more recently his first grandchild. To say he was proud would be an understatement.

Everton would compete with Paula in the kitchen to see who was the better cook. We are not sure who was more talented in the kitchen, but we sure didn’t mind eating the outcome. His signature dishes included the likes of Mac and Cheese, Crab and other seafood. Everton prided himself on being a master Barbecuer and would devour the perfectly cooked steaks.

Everton was a bit of a comedian and was fun to be around, except when his beloved basketball was on. He would send everyone out of the room. However, we might have well been in there as he could be heard throughout the house taunting the players through the tv screen.

Family vacations will be fondly remembered. Trips to Niagara Falls or back to his beloved Kingston where he would spend time with his mother and other extended family.

Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home 4671 Hwy 7, Woodbridge (just west of Pine Valley Dr.) on Friday May 3, 2024  from 4-8 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the Ward Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday May 4, 2024 at 2 p.m. Cremation will follow at a later time.
