Evelyn went home to God peacefully in her sleep, on April 28th, 2014. Missed and loved dearly by her beloved husband Jack Wiggins (boyfriend), daughter Maureen and husband Jim Smith and family, daughter Caroline and husband Gerald Greenberg. Missed dearly by her sister Margaret and brother Frank and by the entire extended Pendergast family. Predeceased by her parents Francis and Catherine, brothers Father Paul SFM and
Father Russell CSB. Evelyn will be missed by the Capuchin Friars and friends.
Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road (North of Lawrence Ave. W.) Weston, on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at on Thursday, May 1st, 2014 at 11:30a.m. at St. Philip Neri Church, 2100 Jane St., Toronto.
A private interment will follow.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Capuchin of Central Canada or to Scarboro Foreign Missions.
