MCCONNELL, Evelyn (nee Cable ) - Peacefully on Wednesday, December 16, 2009 at Humber River Regional Hospital, Church Site in her 83rd year. Beloved wife of Thomas for 46 years. Loving mother of David (Kathy). Cherished Grandma of Jordan and Wee Tom. Dear sister-in-law of Robert (Jeannine). Loved aunt of Scott and Brenda (Bill). A longtime member of the Midland Bridge Clubs, Horner Bridge Club and the Swansea Bridge Club. Evelyn will be sadly missed by all her family and friends. Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road (north of Lawrence Avenue West), Weston, on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the Ward Chapel on Saturday, December 19, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. Burial to follow at Sanctuary Park.
