Evelyn Howells

It is with great sadness that the family of Evelyn Louise Howells announce her passing on October 2, 2017 at the age of 97. Evelyn is pre-deceased by her beloved husband Hal Howells, who died in 1982. Evelyn leaves behind her loving son, Donald Howells, and her cherished daughter, Ann Litavski. As a wonderful Grandmother she will be profoundly missed by her granddaughter, Laura Litavski-Hunter (husband Drew Hunter) and her grandson Adrian Litavski (wife Christi-Ann Litavski). She was a proud great-grandmother and will also be missed by her great-grandchildren Marshall Hunter, Kathryn Litavski, Nickolas Litavski and Jordan Hunter. Evelyn was born November 2, 1919 in the province of Alberta. She was one of 5 siblings and is survived by her younger sister Dorothy Haylor. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, October 6, 2017 at Ward’s Funeral Home, 109 Reynolds St, Oakville. Lastly the family would like to express their deep appreciation for the staff at St. Peter’s Hospital in Hamiltion. They provided patient, loving and supportive care during her stay there.
