Eugenio Cicconetti (1950 - 2015)

Eugenio (Gino) passed peacefully in his family home on Thursday April 30, 2015, surrounded by loved ones and beloved kitties, following a brave battle with T-Cell Lymphoma.

Proud and loving Papa to three daughters, Camilla, Christina and Chantal; Grandpapa to Leah and Kevin; devoted husband to Peggy, Eugenio was a family man who will be deeply missed.

Gino died as he lived his life, with dignity, pride and strength, still displaying extraordinary independence, integrity and courage even in his final moments.

He has now joined his beloved brother, parents and nephew in peace.

Restaurateur and owner of Don Valentino Ristorante, Eugenio brought joy and pleasure to so many through his love of Italian food and providing for others. He loved to nurture his family and friends with his delicious Italian cuisine, and worked diligently to support his family. He was a passionate outdoorsman and loved to fish, much to the pleasure of his hunting buddies. He delighted in bringing family and friends together. Gino also took pride in his backyard vegetable garden and fruit trees. His warmth, honesty and kind heart touched the lives of everyone he met.
