Passed away quietly on March 11, 2014 at Georgian Bay General Hospital, Midland in his 91st year. Beloved husband of the late Lily May . Loving father to Stefan Nozewski, Christine Proffitt, Frank (Mary Lou) Mercer, Patricia (Duncan) Matheson, Barbara (Steve) Moffatt and the late Albert Mercer. Proud grandpa of nine grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson. Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road (north of Lawrence Ave. W.) Weston on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A funeral service will be held in the Ward Chapel on Tuesday at 1:00 pm. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donation to the Parkinson’s Society Canada or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated. Please visit our Book of Memories at www.wardfuneralhome.com
