It is with sadness we announce the passing of our father and grandfather on Sunday March 23rd 2014 in his ninetieth year. Eugene Joseph (Mac) McNamara was predeceased by his wife Mary Elizabeth (Betty) and son Michael Joseph McNamara (Michelle). He will be loved and missed forever by his children: John (Sheryl), Stephen (Kate) and Liz (Scott) McClelland. Grandchildren: Mathew (Natalie), Daniel Gene, Jennifer, Joe, Troy, Selena, Michael(Alisha), Patrick, Megan and Sarah.
Mac was a wonderful husband, father, “Pop” and great grandfather who spent many hours volunteering in his community. He was an avid sportsman and sports fan; he was the Leader of Our Band and we will miss him.
Family and friends will be received at The Ward Funeral Home “Brampton Chapel” 52 Main St. S. (Hwy #10) Brampton from 2-4 and 7-9 Thursday. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday morning at 10 a.m. at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church 66A Main St. S. Brampton. Cremation to follow.
