MALISCH, Erna - Our family has the sad task of announcing Erna's passing on Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at the Humber River Regional Hospital, Church Site in her 86th year. She was the sweetest most loving mother, oma, sister, aunt and friend in the world. She leaves behind to mourn son Gunter Stefan (Sharon), daughter Christa Beaudin, grandson David Beaudin (Nadia), brother Walter Ludwig (Maria), good friend Hedy Brenneisen and all nieces, nephews and friends she had the good fortune of having. Mom's biggest thrill was her family, to whom she was fully devoted. She never quite recovered from the loss of her husband, our dad and opa, Rudolf on February 20, 2008. Thanks to the staff at Village of Humber Heights, Retirement for all of their loving care during the past 22 months. Thanks also to Dr. Nesrallah and the dialysis team for their care for the last 3 years. Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Rd. (north of Lawrence Ave. W.), Weston on Thursday from 6-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Friday in the chapel at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Glendale Memorial Gardens. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, Kidney Foundation or The Salvation Army would be appreciated.
