In loving memory of Erminio DiBartolomeo, born on June 29th, 1947, in Campobasso, Italy. He was raised in the small town of Santo Stefano and moved to Canada in 1967. Erminio peacefully passed away on Christmas Day after a courageous battle with cancer. Despite facing the challenges of the illness, his love for his children—Francesco, Maria, Incoronata, and Aurino—and his four grandchildren—Kayden, Joshua, TJ, and Sloan—remained a constant source of strength. Additionally, he is survived by his loving wife, Rita DiBartolomeo.
Please join us at the Ward Funeral Home in Woodbridge as we gather to celebrate his life, acknowledging the warmth he shared and the unique details that defined him. May he find peace in the vast unknown, reunited with his brother Valentino DiBartolomeo, and parents Maria and Francesco DiBartolomeo. May those he touched find comfort in the memories he leaves behind, honouring the resilience he showed in the face of a tough battle.
Visitation and gathering of family and friends will take place on Wednesday January 3, 2024 from 5pm - 9pm, Ward Funeral Home, "Woodbridge Chapel" (4671 Hwy 7, Woodbridge).
There will be no formal funeral ceremony as it is Erminio's wish to return to Italy to have his funeral take place in his home town.
In lieu of flowers, donation to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
