Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday February 6th, 2011 at the Brampton Civic Hospital, in her 93th year. Beloved mother of Rui and his wife Olga, cherished grandmother of Diana (husband Ryan), Sandra and Peter. Pre-deceased by her husband Elias, siblings Piedade, Jaime and João and parents Manuel and Maria. She will be dearly missed by her friends and family in Canada and Portugal. The family wishes to thank the staff at N2 Neurology for their support and compassion during her final days.

Family and Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home “Brampton Chapel”, 52 Main Street South (Hwy 10), Brampton on Wednesday February 9th from 5-9 pm.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday February 10, 2011, at 1:30 p.m.at St Leonards Roman Catholic Church 187 Conestoga Dr. Brampton

Interment to take place in Portugal.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or The Canadian National Institute for The Blind would be appreciated.
