Eric passed away peacefully in his 78th year, with his wife and daughter by his side.

Eric’s love of family and generous nature will be greatly missed and remembered by all. He enjoyed helping everyone whenever he could and had an amazing sense of humour. Eric loved life and enjoyed the company of his many friends; he was an avid fisherman and hunter years ago, but in later years enjoyed taking long walks in the city or the countryside.

Predeceased by parents Lewis and Theresa, brothers Wallace and Bruce, and his brother-in-law Chesley Gillingham. He is survived by his beloved wife Diana, his cherished daughter Laura , his sister Leah whom he adored, brothers Herman, Leo and David and sisters-in-law Beverley, Pauline, Lorraine, and Annette as well as many nieces and nephews.

At Eric’s request there will be a graveside service that will be held privately.

The family wishes to thank Dr. D. Grossman and all of the nurses at the Baycrest Palliative Care unit for their support and the wonderful care that Eric received.
