With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved Ercolino ‘Benny’ Benincasa on June 7th, 2023, in the comfort of his home, surrounded by his loved ones and with his trumpet by his side.
Benny lived 92 wonderful years that were filled with endless laughter, the joy of music and love for his family, especially his four cherished grandchildren who he adored.
He will forever be missed by his dearest wife and caregiver Vincenza, his daughter Algrina (Rick), late son Ugo (Anna) and grandchildren Leah (Michael), Anthea (Simon), Arianna (Andrew) and Ryan (Bretton).
The family would like to express their sincere thanks to Lynne Penton, NP, Dr. Hardeep Prewal, Dr. William Caryl and the palliative care nurses from St. Elizabeth for their incredible and compassionate care.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Temmy Latner Centre for Palliative Care are most appreciated.
We will cherish every precious memory of Benny, every note he played, every joke he told. Until we meet again.
