Emily Giovannini

Giovannini, Emily (nee Turpin) – peacefully at home, Emily passed away on Tuesday, December 3rd, 2013 at the age of 82 from complications of Alzheimer’s Disease. Predeceased by her loving husband Gug (1995) and her dear grandson John (1996). She will be greatly missed by her children Carolyn, Helen (Ray), Warren (Darlene) and Rick. Beloved Grandma to Michael (Savannah), Stephen (Angela), Christopher and Nicole. Survived by sisters Doss, Enid, and Sheila Maude. Predeceased by brothers Lionel, Ambrose, Warren and Gord. She will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, neighbours and extended family. The Family wishes to thank her caregiver Marina for her devoted care to Mom over the past 2 years, her PSWs from CCAC, and Dr. Robert McMillin, Judy and Chris for their many years of care to Mom. Friends will be received at Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road (north of Lawrence Ave.) Weston on Thursday and Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, December 7th, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Church, 49 George Street, Toronto. Interment to follow at Sanctuary Park Cemetery.
