Emilio Deo

Emilio Franco Deo, son of Angela and Mario Deo and brother of Francesco Deo, was born in Toronto, Ontario on March 27, 1991. Emilio thrived off of life and never wasted a single moment. In just 29-short-years, Emilio achieved more than many do in a lifetime.

Emilio obtained his degree in Urban and Regional Planning from Ryerson University and was incredibly passionate about his field. His enthusiasm and creativeness led him through 10 years of planning practice in public, private and entrepreneurial settings.

Emilio, we can all now comprehend why you lived life so large. Large in your generosity. Large in your caring. Infinite in your love. We assure you, Emilio, with all our hearts, we knew it then, and, with the most deepest regret, we know it even more now. You entertained us with your electrifying exuberance. It exploded like champagne which you doused upon us every day of our lives. You taught us to live zealously and to love each other. You had spectacular passion; sports, dirt-biking, food, wine, your cherished friends, your profession, but most of all, your love for everyone you touched. You lived life like you knew you had to accomplish everything in a shorter period of time. Monotony was your enemy, whom you never once faced.

So, we will dry our eyes and remember you, not as you are now, but as you used to be. Because by remembering you and looking upon you with love and a smile, you will live your life in the hearts of all of us.


In accordance with the June 13th, 2020 directive from the Bereavement Authority of Ontario, Funeral Services can be held within the funeral home, accommodating no more individuals than 30% capacity of our visitation rooms and/or on site Chapel. With the increased allowance for family and friends to receive and offer condolences, adherence to social distancing remains. Funeral Services being held in a place of worship allow for no more individuals than 30% capacity unique to each place of worship. Wearing of masks, or face coverings, by everyone is mandatory as per the directives of the Bereavement Authority. This includes ALL staff and attendees. Masks will be provided to those guests who may not have their own.
