Obituary for Emilia Orleni

We are deeply saddened by the news of our mother Emilia. She died peacefully at the Humber River Regional Hospital on March 5, 2022 in her 85th year. She is now reunited with her late husband Rino. Loving Mother of Aldo (Mary-Lou), Denise Tatone (Loreto) & Nansy Palermo (Sergio). Beloved grandmother of Roberto, Erica, Joseph (Marie-Eve), Marco, Nicholas, Alessia, Stefanie and Great grandmother to Olivia. She is survived by her sister Anna and sadly missed by brother in law, sister in laws, many nieces and nephews and a multitude of friends both in Canada and abroad.

Our mother was the matriarch of the family and the one person who people went to for just about anything. She led us with her wisdom, guidance and her unconditional love. Never afraid of hard work and always believed in sharing with others. She maintained long and meaningful relationships with many around her. Her passion was her garden, she loved to play bingo and going to the casino with her two sisters. She enjoyed travelling back home in Italy to visit her family and spend time with them. Emilia was a mother figure to many and kept everyone around her well prepared for whatever life brought. She always knew when to do the right thing even when it was tough at times. We have so many sacred memories and she will be deeply missed.
