Emilia Gentile (nee Belmonte)

June 25, 1931 – December 2, 2024

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved matriarch, Emilia Gentile. Emilia passed away surrounded by the love of her family on December 2, 2024 in her 93rd year. She was born in Campochiaro, Campobasso, Italy on June 25, 1931 to the late Domenico and Maria Teresa Belmonte. She is now reunited with the love of her life Egidio, with whom she was married for 45 years. She is also now reunited with her siblings Antonio, Filomena, Peppino and Mariuccia.

Emilia will be forever missed by her dear children, Antonio (Cindy), and Angela (Mario). She was a very devoted nonna to Amie (Kent), Nick, April (Joe), and Laura (Fabrizio), and a doting bisnonna to Matteo. She will be greatly missed by her extended family and friends.

Emilia was very devoted to her catholic faith, attending church regularly. In her free time she loved to sing, and cook fresh pasta and pizza for her family. She always made sure she was keeping herself busy. She was very happy and easy going, and would ensure everyone around her was happy as well.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Emilia's name may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
