Emilia Caputo

Emilia passed away peacefully on Friday, May 29 at the age of 88 of a sudden illness unrelated to COVID-19 at Villa Colombo, Toronto. Emilia Caputo (nee Naccarato) was born on Saturday, September 12, 1931, in Mendicino, Province of Cosenza, Calabria, Italy; she passed away in Toronto, Ontario, on Friday, May 29, 2020. Emilia is reunited in heaven with her son Luigi and her husband Francesco. Cherished mother of Carmela. Dear mother-in-law to Salvatore. Beloved grandmother to Patrizia (Christian), Paolo and Roberto. Loving aunt, sister & sister-in-law. Emilia will be dearly and immensely missed by her entire extended family and all those whom she touched with her kindness, humour and love.

A private family service will take place for immediate family only due to current restrictions. A Celebration of Emilia’s life will be held in her honour once family and friends may gather again. Private entombment at Glendale Memorial Gardens. If desired, donations to the Daily Bread Food Bank in honour of Emilia Caputo would be greatly appreciated by the family.
