Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family and friends on August 17, 2014 at the age of 79. Loving husband of Marisa. Proud father of Gabriele (Grace) and Lorenzo (Leonor). Cherished nonno of Lucas, Julia, Victoria, Elizabeth and Caroline. Emidio will be sadly missed by his sisters, his many other friends and family and all the members of the Federazione Abruzzese. He has joined his parents Gino Cicconi and Lucia Valentini, and brothers and sisters.

Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 4671 Hwy. 7 (west of Pine Valley Dr.), Woodbridge, 905-851-9100, On Wednesday August 20th from 6-9 and Thursday August 21st from 2-4, 6-9. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Clare of Assisi Church, 150 Saint Francis Ave., Woodbridge, on Friday August 22nd at 9:30 am. The Cicconi family wishes to thank the Doctors and staff at Toronto General and Mount Sinai Hospital.
