Smith, Elspeth Rosemary (nee Bogle)

Passed away peacefully on September 9, 2010 at Wyndham Manor, Oakville, Ontario after a long battle with Multiple Sclerosis. Born in Scotland in 1945, she was the only daughter of Thomas Bogle and Marjorie Jones. Dearly loved wife of Allan Smith. Cherished mother of Andrew (Maki Umemura) and Matthew. She is also mourned by faithful friends, an aunt and cousins in the United Kingdom, and members of the extended Smith family. Elspeth was a graduate of U of T and for several years taught at Erindale Secondary School, Mississauga.

A Memorial Service to commemorate Elspeth's life will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday September 13 at St. Jude's Anglican Church, 160 William Street, Oakville, with a reception to follow in the parish hall. Interment of cremated remains in St. Jude's Cemetery, Oakville, will occur at a later date.
