Elsie Leitch

Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at the Baycrest Palliative Care Unit. Beloved wife of the late George Leitch (May 1, 2008). Survived by her loving children Catherine Leitch and Linda Leitch of Toronto, and Jim Leitch (Mary Gail) of Lethbridge, AB. Loved grandmother of Matthew, Mary-Ann and Mark Leitch, all of Lethbridge. Mum just celebrated her 90th birthday with her children and grandchildren. Mum was born and raised on a farm near Pinkerton, ON. She enjoyed a long and fulfilling career in teaching, spending her latter years at Downsview Collegiate Institute teaching English. Mum and Dad enjoyed a lengthy retirement together going to the cottage, travelling and curling. Mum was an avid reader and found much joy in the fulfillment of her many creative talents. She loved playing bridge with her retired teaching colleagues.
