Gillespie-McIntyre, Elsie passed away peacefully on September 27, 2013 at Leisureworld Tullamore Nursing Home at 91years of age. Elsie was a longtime employee of Gray Tools Toronto and McDonnell Douglas Malton. Predeceased by her husband Ross McIntyre. Loving mother of Dawn Banville {Sandy Haining}, loving grandmother to Jeffrey Banville. Loving sister to Alva Gillespie {Robert MacLean}, beloved aunt to Karen, Diana, Debbie & Donny, Donnie & Sheila, Jenn, Patty Michelle and their families. Loving godmother to Joan and Joyce. Predeceased by her loving brothers and sisters, Elena, Norman, Orville, Emma, Myrtle, Audrey “Midge” and Dorothy. Predeceased by her son-in-law, Jerry Banville. Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road (north of Lawrence Ave) Weston, on Tuesday from 1-3 pm, followed by service in Chapel at 3pm. As an expression of sympathy in lieu of flowers, donation to the Huntingtons Society and or Toronto Humane Society would be greatly appreciated. A private interment to take place at Hillcrest Cemetery, Smiths Falls.
