Elsbeth Hennigar

On Sunday October 12, 2014, Elsbeth peacefully passed away at age 100. She was born May 3, 1914, in Elmsdale, Nova Scotia, the daughter of Edwin Fraser and Ola Grant. Loving mother of Debbie; grandmother (Nanny) to Brad (Shayla) and Ashley and great-grandmother to Devyn. Step mother (Belsie) to Wayne (Doreen), Nancy (Jack), Paul (Sue) and 5 step grandchildren and 5 step great-grandchildren. She is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She was predeceased by her husbands Harry Marks and George Hennigar; sisters Lena Boutlier and Ola Cook; and brothers Richmond and Cecil. She will be greatly missed by many good friends and family.
Visitation will be held at the Ward Funeral Home, 109 Reynolds Street, Oakville (905-844-3221) on Friday, October 17, 2014 from 12 to 1 p.m. with a Memorial Service beginning at 1 p.m. in the chapel.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, Acclaim Health Community Support Services or St. Paul’s United Church, Oakville.
