Ellard (Al) Hein, 84, passed away Monday, June 12, 2023. Al was born on August 20, 1938 in Pembroke, ON. He worked as an air traffic controller at Toronto Pearson airport for 43 years and it was truly his passion. He married Patricia Clyne on September 8, 1962 surrounded by friends and family. Al was preceded in his death by his mom and dad, his stepdad, his two sisters and brother and his beloved son, Kenneth. He is survived by his wife, Patricia, his son, Gregory (and Lauren), his daughter, Natalie and his 7 grandchildren, Leo, Sam, Sasha, Lily, Emma, Harry and Gracie. Memorial contributions are welcome to Augsburg Lutheran Church or the Ronald McDonald House Charities or your charity of choice.
