Elizabeth Sloma

Born: March 8,1940
Elizabeth (Liz) Sloma (nee Paterson), age 80, passed away on Friday, September 25, 2020. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Born in Kirkaldy, Scotland, Liz was married to Tony for 50 years, and he passed away just nine days after her, on October 4, 2020. Liz was preceded in death by her parents George Ewart and Ann Paterson (Wilson), and her brother, Thomas Paterson. Liz is survived by her children David and Lorraine and two grandchildren (Anthony and Veronica), and her brothers George (late Betty) and Alistair (Aline), and many nieces and nephews. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 24 at 11:00 am at Our Lady of Peace Church, 3914 Bloor St W, Etobicoke, ON M9B 1L7. Followed immediately by interment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery at 7300 Highway #27, Woodbridge, ON L4H 4Y8. A celebration of her life will be held for friends and family at a later date, once Covid restrictions pass.
