Rowlands, Elizabeth Alice (Betty)
Passed away May 4th, 2023 in Brampton in her 93rd year. Predeceased by loving husband William (Bill). Loving mother to Cathy (Marty) and Susan (Gary). Adored grandmother to Lauren, April, Angela (Justin), William (Meghan) and Mandy (Mitchell). Cherished great-grandmother to Noah, Ava, Lila, Nolan, Rory, Nash and Claire.
Dear aunt to Pat, Barbara, Mike, Brian and Karen.

Betty loved spending time with her family and watching her great grandchildren grow. She was a big kid at heart who never turned down a sweet treat. She made friends everywhere she went and charmed people with her sweet, gentle and humble nature. Betty could always see the humour in life and her family will miss sharing laughter with her. She was a great story teller and reminded us that “it could always be worse”. We were all amazed at her strength and courage over the last several years as she fought cancer. She looked forward to meeting up with her posse from the senior centre as much as she could and she loved a good social gathering where people waited their turn to catch up with her. She was all caught up with Coronation Street and the Young and the Restless.
Special thanks to the amazing staff at Princess Margaret Hospital, especially Dr. Lawson Eng, the staff at Brampton Civic Hospital especially Dr. Cheema.
In lieu of flowers donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
