Elizabeth Rowe

With deep sorrow, we announce that our beloved Elizabeth Ann Rowe (Betty) passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at the age of 80. She is reunited in heaven with her parents Ivy and Albert, and her brother John.

Elizabeth was the heart of our family, a devoted wife of 62 wonderful years to Kenneth. She is lovingly remembered by her sister Pamela (Phil).

She exemplified every meaning of the word mother: warmth, care, devotion, and unwavering love. A nurturing mother to 3 children, Caroline (Stivi), Juliet and Christopher (Sheryll). The best grandmother to Curtis, Samantha, Gaetano, Anthony, Amanda and Alexandria. An adoring great-grandmother to Stivi, Lincoln, Violet, Fleur, Antonio and Emilia.

She was born in London, England on May 10, 1944. She met a handsome RAF Airman at a dance when she was 16 years old, and 3 years later, they were married. Soon they set sail to Australia where they made a home and lived an adventure. They moved back to England some years later and had 2 beautiful girls. They decided to settle in Canada and expanded their family by having an adoring baby boy to complete their family of 5.

She embraced being a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She has a passion for travelling the world, the best navigator, ensuring that we were never lost on one of our adventures. Always eager to embrace the beauty of the world around her and extend kindness.

Her love was our anchor. Her presence gave us comfort and joy. Her legacy of devotion, great gentle kindness, resilience and love to our family will live on in each and everyone of us.

We love you mum; may you rest in peace with Nanny and Grandad!
