RYBKA, Elizabeth

Elizabeth Frances Rybka, beloved mother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully at
home on August 13 in the evening in the presence of her daughter, Juliana Rybka. She was born
on January 12, 1957 in Toronto and was raised in Brampton by her parents, Otilia and Frank
Rybka, with her brothers, Anthony (Maxine), Joseph (Patricia), Paul (Leanna), Christopher, and
Edward (Pamela). Her family was an important part of her life and she was much loved by her 17
nieces and nephews, Jennifer (Marc), Marysa (Anthony), Nathanael, Peter, Katrina, Michael
Edward, Michael Paul, Nicholas, Matthew, Alexandra, Sarah, Hannah, Madelaine, Andrew, Mark,
Stephen, and Benjamin and great nieces and nephews, Gabriel, Noah, Loïc, and Kate. At the
centre of Elizabeth’s life was her faith. She had a deep love for God and an undying trust in His
love for. her. She attended daily Mass and spent an hour almost every day in Eucharistic
adoration. She was constantly putting others first and showing her love both in words and actions.
Her generosity and kindness have touched many lives and she will be greatly missed. Her love
and service for others will continue in her prayers from Heaven. A visitation will be held and Wards
Funeral Home on August 21 from 2 pm to 4 pm and again from 7 pm to 9 pm. The funeral will be
at St. Mary’s Catholic Church on August 22 at 11 am and there will be a reception following. In
