Elizabeth Bortolus

It is with profound sadness that we share that our dear Mum, Elizabeth passed away this morning, May 16, 2022, at the age of 86, after a beautiful life enjoyed with family and friends.

Daughter of James and Mary Wood, beloved wife of Bruno for 54 years until his passing in 2016, and loving mother of Glenn and his wife Anna, and Lisa and her husband Jeff. Cherished Nonna of Nicole and Hailey, James and wife Beth and great-granddaughter Henrietta, Mark and wife Jessica, Andrew, and fiancée Shannon.

We will remember with love and joy, Mum’s zest for life and beautiful spirit. She and Dad created a wonderful life together, raising their family, travelling around the world, playing tennis and golf, hosting family celebrations, sharing fun in the sun in Florida, and precious time with her grandchildren. She and the values she instilled, live on in our hearts – love of family, honesty, generosity, laughter, and always looking your best! We love you, Mum.

A private family celebration for our Mum, Elizabeth will be held. In lieu of flowers as expressions of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer Society of Canada would be appreciated.
