Passed away peacefully after a brief illness on January 14, 2015 at Headwaters Healthcare Centre. Beloved mother of Caroline Vander Kooij and John, and Colin and Jackie. Dear sister of Jo Cardle, Angus Brown and Ida. Dear sister in law of Linda Rueckwald. Cherished aunt of Catriona, Fiona & Aileen, Glen & Irene, Chiara, Andrew and Breanna.

Sadly missed by her granddogs Sam, Tarken, Amber and Saije. Betty was born and raised in Scotland and came to Canada with her family in 1970.

Family and Friends will be received at North Bramalea United Presbyterian Church on Monday from 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday from 1-2 p.m. with a Memorial service beginning at 2 p.m.

In lieu of flowers donation may be made to the Lymphoma and Leukemia Foundation.
