Elisabetta Coletta

It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of Elisabetta Coletta, who passed away peacefully, with family by her side on February 22nd 2020 at the age of 95.

She was predeceased by her loving husband of 65 years, Vincenzo, in 2010.

She will be greatly missed by her children, Teresa (Luigi) and Americo (Betty) and her 5 grandchildren, Vince (Sonia), Larry (Kim), Jennifer (Isaac), Melanie (Sergio) and Christopher (Antonietta). Loving and adoring Bisnonna to Matthew, Jack, Andrew, Sydney, Tristan, Jayden, Gabriella, Benjamin, Jaxson and Mia.

Elisabetta was born is Supino, Italy on May 12th 1924, the eldest of nine children to Giovanni and Loreta Boni. She immigrated to Canada in April 1957, to join her husband in Toronto. She was the matriarch of large extended family and her love and friendship will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by everyone who knew her.

Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 4671 Hwy 7 (west of Pine Valley Dr.), Woodbridge on Tuesday February 25th from 2-4 pm and 6-9 pm. A funeral mass will be held at St. Peter’s church, 100 Bainbridge Ave, on Wednesday February 26th at 9:30 am. Burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Richmond Hill.
