Mrusek, Elisabeth “Eli” (nee Horn)

Passed away quietly on June 12th, 2014 to be reunited with her husband Waldemar, her brother Eddi, and her parents Adolfina (nee Reichart) and Edward Horn. Cherished mother of Wolf and Fulvia. Beloved Oma of Derek (Rosanna) and Richard (Valerie). Dear sister to Aldona Lincz (Joe), Sigi Horn (Edith-predeceased), Wally Horn (Helen) and treasured matriarch of her many nieces and nephews. Born on October 25, 1929, Eli was forever proud of her loving family, an enthusiastic gardener, a compassionate neighbor. She was happiest surrounded by her family. Retired librarian technician with the University of Toronto, dedicating more than 25 years to her passion of books. Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 4671 Hwy 7 (west of Pine Valley Dr.), Woodbridge, on Sunday, from 2-5 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 10 a.m. at St. Margaret Mary Church, 8500 Islington Ave., Woodbridge on Monday, June 16, 2014. Burial to follow at Glendale Memorial Gardens. As expressions of sympathy donations to Humber River Regional Hospital would be greatly appreciated by the family.
