Elfriede Elisabeth Lenauskas

Eldest Daughter of Peter and Paula Wiesmann, Sister of Martha and Wolfgang Wiesmann. Was born on December 7th 1927 in Friedenweiler Germany.

Dedicated and Loving wife of Edward Lenauskas, Mother of Gisele and Thomas Merz and Harry Lenauskas. Grandmother of Walter, Kristoff, Alex, Lisa, Lindsay, Ryan, Tara, and Carisa (CJ). Great Grandmother of Lily, Madison, Roman, Isabel, Tyler, Evan, Emma and Elisa.

Elfriede started to work from a young age of 14 in Germany developing a strong work ethic that allowed her in even in tough times to provide the best for her children. Taking on any work that was available she gave her all. One of her first jobs was a kindergarten Nurse, her love of the children and others around her carried though her life.

Dedicated to her Family, it was seen in every Christmas meals, birthday and family get togethers. She was an inspiring light for all.

Just her presence in a room made a family gathering warm up. Her welcoming aura made all feel loved.

She is a shining symbol of what family means and it will be difficult to live up to the legacy she left behind.
