Eileen Macdonald

Passed away peacefully, with family by her side, at Extendicare Mississauga, on Saturday, December 27, 2015, aged 92. The beloved wife of the late Bob Macdonald, she spent most of her life in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Eileen was the loving mother of Alison (Robert). She adored being grandmother to Helen (Terry), Nicola (Stefano) Leigh (Rob), and great grandmother to Aidan, Robyn, Chloe, Dario, Quinn and Aria. Elegant, gracious, loving and caring, Eileen left a positive impression on everyone she met. She will be greatly missed by family and all who loved her. Our deepest thanks go out to all of the employees of Extendicare, Mississauga, especially those in Meadowvale House, whose professionalism and kindness were always evident in their care of Eileen. Friends will be received at White Oak Presbyterian Church, 6945 Meadowvale Town Centre Circle, L5N 2W7 at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, January 5, 2015, followed by a funeral service at 12 noon and interment at Meadowvale Cemetery, Brampton at 2:30 p.m. Memorial donations to a charity of your choice, or to White Oak Presbyterian Church would be appreciated.
