Edwin Lorenz

Peacefully at home in his 76th year on Friday, December 24, 2010, surrounded by his loving family. Edwin, beloved husband of Ilse for 51 years. Dear father of Silvia and her husband Mike Drewery of Charlotte, North Carolina and Cindy and her husband Todd Savage of Wasaga Beach. Cherished Opa to Tyler, Michael, Braedon and Mark. Loving son of Karoline. Edwin was a devoted longtime volunteer of St. John’s Ambulance in Brampton and was recognized by the Peel Regional Police for his acts of bravery. He was a very kind and caring man, always thinking of others before himself. He will be sadly missed by his family and many friends. Many thanks to the Care Partners Nursing Team, especially Jenny for her ongoing care and support, the family would also like to thank Dr. Kelly for all his kindness.

A private service will take place with cremation to follow.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
