Edward James McKee, at the age of 65, passed away peacefully at his Brampton home surrounded by his family and friends.

Mr. McKee was born in Northern Ireland on July 17, 1957, he was the son of the late Gerard McKee and Kathleen (Quinn) McKee.

He moved to Canada in 1977 and became a member of the Brampton Irish Centre where he met many lifelong friends and was involved in several Irish community and social events throughout the years. Mr. McKee was an employee of the City of Brampton, Parks and Recreation Division for 42 years and recently retired in 2020.

Eddie is survived by his spouse of 42 years, Nancy Richards, His Children Martan McKee and his Wife Brittany McKee, Lindsay McKee and her spouse Spencer Dunbrook, Caitlin McKee and her spouse Ryan Rautianen, his 3 Grandchildren, Lacey McKee, Liam McKee, and Sydney Dunbrook, His Sister, Maria March, Margaret Galbraith, and Brother, Michael McKee and his many Nieces and Nephews in Northern Ireland. He also leaves behind many family members and close friends in Canada, Frank Richards, Tom Richards, Jeff Richards and sons Aiden Richards and Connor Richards, Blaine Richards and his wife Kathleen Richards their children Sarah Richards, Carter Richards, and Nolan Richards. Michael Gilmore and family and many, many close friends. In addition, he was predeceased by his brother Gerry McKee, his parents, Gerard McKee and Kathleen Mckee, and mother-in-law, Fran Richards.
