Edna Lillian Wright

On Thursday March 31st, 2011, at Princess Margaret Hospital, Edna Wright, surrounded by her family, peacefully ended her battle with cancer. Edna, “Mom” & “Nan” will always be remembered for her loving dedication to her family and friends, her love and appreciation for the simple things in life, and for the pleasure she found in music, especially singing with the church choir. Edna was married to Parker Wright, and blessed with three sons David, Robert and William. She will be deeply missed by her sons, and daughters’ in-law Susan, Monique and Barbara. Her Grandchildren and (Spouses’), Chris, Laura, Jaime (Paul), Edward (Lori), Sarah (Kit), Aaron (Liz), Trish (Rob), Jason (Jacinta), Shawn (Tina), and by her great-grandchildren from the oldest to youngest; Emily, Olivia, Autumn, Jaime, Amy, Samantha, Jennifer, Aiden, Jacob, Owen, and Riley-Mae.

Our family would like to extend their appreciation, and gratitude to the staff of Princess Margaret Hospital, for the warmth, kindness and love expressed to our Mother and Nan.
A Life Celebration Service will be held at Mimico Baptist Church, 80 Hillside Dr., Etobicoke at 12noon on Saturday, April 16th ,2011. Visitation at the Church from 11:00 a.m. In lieu of sending flowers, it was Edna’s wish that a memorial donation be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to Princess Margaret Hospital.
