Edgar Jose Talavera Mejia

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Edgar Jose Talavera Mejia, who was taken from us on March 22, 2025, at the age of 68. A devoted husband to Olga Maria Talavera Jarquin of 40 years.  A loving father to Jorge Alejandro Sanchez Jarquin, Olga Maria Sanchez Kiss (Christian Kiss) and Maria Jose Talavera Jarquin (Hector Nieto).  Everloving “Addy” to Cristian, Sebastian, Xavier, Gabriela and Maya.

His generosity, strong worth ethics and love for life made him persevere. He was a pillar of strength to his family and mentor to many. A man with many dreams and many talents, a jack of all trades with a passion for life. He was a man of faith. friendly and willing to help anyone in need.

Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home 4671 Hwy 7, Woodbridge (just west of Pine Valley Dr.) on Friday from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday April 5, 2025 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe 694 Weston Rd., York, Ontario. Cremation to follow.
