Peacefully at home on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at the age of 87. Beloved husband of Elizabeth for 64 loving years. Loving father of the late Eddie (1959), George (Teresa) and Susie (Michael) Car. Cherished nagypapa to Diana (Kevin), Debbie (Andrew), Eric, Sylvia and great grandchildren Giselle and Carmelo. He will be sadly missed by his sister in law Manci Kovacs and her family back home in Budapest. Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road (North of Lawrence Ave. W.) Weston, on Friday from 2-4 & 6-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 1st Hungarian Presbyterian Church, 439 Vaughan Road, Toronto on Saturday at 2 p.m. Interment to follow at Riverside Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Princess Margaret Hospital – Breast Cancer Clinic would be appreciated.
