It is with deep sadness that very suddenly on Thursday October 17th, 2013 Ed was taken from us in his 84th year at the Trillium Mississauga Hospital. He was a loving husband of 63 years to Maureen (nee Connolly). Wonderful father to Gerry (Flo), Cathy (Dale), Dan (Lancy), Chris (Nancy), Patricia (Albert), Joe (Katherine), and Edward (Colleen). Grampa will be dearly missed by his 16 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Proud founder of Gib-San Pools and strong contributor to the Swimming Pool Industry for over 50 years. Long-time member of Weston Golf and Country Club. Fond family memories of the many wonderful years on Georgian Bay. Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road (North of Lawrence Ave. W.) Weston, on Sunday and Monday from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 pm. The funeral mass will be held at All Saints Church (1415 Royal York Road) on Tuesday at11 am. A private interment to follow at St Michael’s Cemetery in Orillia on Wednesday.
