Passed away peacefully, with her family at her bedside, on Saturday March 12, 2022.
Remembered by her cherished daughter Nicole and loving grandson Darius, Albert (Phil), treasured sisters and their spouses Annette (Don) Robinson, Cheryl (Ian) Wildman, Carol Alexander, her brother Ian (Charmaine) Wiltshire, brother in law (Alban), and the extended Wiltshire family. Her Family Circle of Love includes the Hull family, the Bynoe family, the Hercules family, the Rodriguez family, numerous cherished nieces and nephews and the many Godchildren she lovingly nurtured over the years in Canada, the US and UK.
To Eastlyn, family was not about blood but who is willing to be with you when you need them the most whether its those mentioned by name above, or her vast extended family which includes both blood relatives as well as the many close “sisterships” and friendships she cherished over the decades. Eastlyn was the first child of her deceased parents Joseph and Elaine Wiltshire.
Eastlyn was the Matriach in the family. She was a loving, caring and deeply decent woman. She was a portrait of strength, courage, bravery and faith and lived life with passion and gratitude for being the beneficiary of a blessed life. She lived life to the very end “her way”.
Her blessings included the dedicated network Health Care Heroes including family and good hearted volunteers who unselfishly provided excellent care, comfort and compassion when she needed it the most and for which she was extremely grateful.
As we lovingly send Eastlyn off to her heavenly resting place, it is our family’s obligation to bow and give thanks for the multitude of blessings and marvellous memories she brought into our lives. They will live on our hearts forever!
Eastlyn worked for many years in the Retail Sales Tax Branch of the Ontario Government until her retirement.
May she Rest In Peace and May God bless all those whose lives she touched.
We will always love you Eastlyn!
