Dragomir Bjelic

Passed away peacefully at the Grand River Hospital in Kitchener on Sunday, May 13, 2018 at the age of 93. He is now reunited with his late wife Magdalana (2000). Loving uncle to Dusan (Vera), Rosie, and Mike (Sue). Dear great-uncle to Andrej, Milan, Nathan, Megan and Alyssa. Cherished brother to Anica and Zorka. Sister-in-law to Theresa. Dragomir could always be found at the YMCA or walking in the neighborhood even up until the week prior to his passing. He will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by his family in Serbia and friends in Canada. Special appreciation is extended to the staff at Chartwell Scarlet Heights- Etobicoke, Chartwell Westmount - Kitchener and Grand River Hospital for their kind and compassionate care shown to Dragomir. Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home; 2035 Weston Road (north of Lawrence Ave), Weston, on Thursday, May 17, 2018 from 10:00 am until the time of service in the chapel on at 11:00 am. Interment to follow at Sanctuary Park Cemetery.
