Douglas O'Connor

Mr. Douglas William O’Connor, of Oakville, Ontario, passed away on Saturday April 8th 2017, at the age of 94, with his loving family by his side.

Doug had a passion for traveling, gardening, golfing and bowling. He was an avid walker of Bronte Park and the Lakeshore, and enjoyed visiting the cottage up north. Doug was a member of The Entertainers, a barbershop chorus of the Halton and Peel regions, and contributed to many performances throughout the GTA. He was kind, honest, loving and proud, and will be greatly missed.

Doug is survived by his son, Michael J. O’Connor (spouse Joy O'Connor) and his daughter, Sandra Sadecki (spouse Dave Sadecki), his grandchildren, Cody Sadecki, Erin Sadecki, Margo Smith, Michael C. O’Connor and Charlotte O'Connor, and his six great grandchildren, Carter, Layla, Mason, Marshall, Madison and Caleb. His death is preceded by his wife, Marie O’Connor (née Arlow).
