Predeceased by her husband Gilbert Harrison and her son Bruce Walasek; her parents Lorne and Helen MacKenzie; and her siblings Arthur MacKenzie, Wilbert MacKenzie and Faye Guest. She is survived by her children Gary Harrison and Diane Shearham; her grandchildren Craig and Shaun Harrison; and great-grandchildren Austin and Aurora Harrison, as well as many nieces and nephews she loved dearly.
Dorothy will always be remembered for her infectious smile. She saw beauty in everything and everyone. We will forever miss the ray of sunshine she shone on everyone.
Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, Weston Chapel located at 2035 Weston Road on Monday, December 30th from 12:00-2:00pm for a Memorial Celebration and Reception. Inurnment to follow at Riverside Cemetery. Donations to Alzheimer’s Society greatly appreciated.
