Dorothy, in her 94th year, passed away peacefully at the Brampton Civic Hospital on Tuesday June 18, 2013. Loving wife of Richard Keith Davis and Clifford Douglas, both predeceased. Beloved mother of Beth and her husband Doug, Diane and her husband Dave and Sandra and her husband Glenn. Proud grandmother of Jarrod, Krystin and her husband Luis, Jenna and Rachael. Great grandmother to Amy and Ava. Beloved sister of Donald Williams and survived by her nephews Ian, and his wife Donalee and son Gavin, and Cameron. Born in North Bay, Ontario on 11 June 1920, Dorothy was an avid curler and a dedicated teacher for over 25 years with the Borough of York at CE Webster and Dennis Avenue Public schools.
Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home 2035 Weston Road (north of Lawrence Ave) Weston, on Saturday from 2-4pm . A service will be held in the chapel on Monday June 24, 2013at 11am.
