CURLEY, Dorothy J.
Dorothy passed away August 28th after a brief illness. She was living independently in her own home until a recent stroke required her to move to Runnymede Heathcare Centre. She was born in Toronto, and remained here her entire life except for 2 years in Los Angeles. She was predeceased by her husband Robert John; they were married for over 60 years. She is survived by her two children, Deborah May(Rob Wenarchuk) and Robert (Debbie)and her cherished grandchildren David and Andrea Curley. She is also survived by her dear sister Ella Hayward (Norm), in-laws to Charlotte Lynch, and Stanley Curley(Doris), Thomas Curley (Sandy) and Terri Curley as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Gladys, and brothers Alf, John and Tom. Dorothy will be remembered as a woman who was "sharp as a tack", vivacious and always "dressed as a lady", as she would say. She always had a story to tell. She loved Christmas time, creating her miniature village under the tree and especially enjoyed attending the annual family Christmas party. Her grandchildren were her greatest joy and loved spending time with them.
